CALLING ALL BIBLIOPHILES! After a brief hiatus, Am Haskalah’s long-standing Book Club, has begun meeting via Zoom. Over time, we have had the pleasure of reading virtually every genre of literature; sharing our opinions and perspectives among friends.
Just in the last year, we have laughed at the “Stories of Tevye the Dairyman”, reflected on the dystopian tragedy “the Handmaid’s Tale”, and warmed to the chilling events of the Gothic suspense novel “Rebecca”.
We invite you to join us in a positive, nurturing and welcoming environment. Our meetings are held on the third Sunday of the month, at 3:00 PM.
Usually the 3rd Sunday of each month at 3pm. Zoom and in-person (COVID allowing).
Continuing Education classes are offered by our rabbis monthly, with a variety of topics. Usually the second Sunday of the month at 1pm, online and in person. More information.
Bring writing materials, an open heart and a listening soul. Led by Rabbi Steve Nathan, usually the 4th Sunday of the month at 1pm. Zoom only.
A new restaurant every month! (COVID allowing) A purely social event, we love to catch up with friends old and new. Times and locations to be announced.
